Our monitoring scope is stated openly. The database is probed directly on every cycle. Web and API are inferred from this response itself — if you can read it, both are up; that is exactly why they cannot report their own outage, and coverage switches to “external monitoring” once a monitor reports in. Channels come from periodic provider health checks; AI and email only from real successful provider operations. Missing or stale evidence is shown as “awaiting data”, never as an outage.
